At Customized Jewel refer to customizedjewel.com, we may offer warranties on certain products as set forth in their individual product descriptions. This Policy describes how those warranties work, and what to expect if a product does not carry a warranty.
1. When a Product Is Under Warranty
If a product you purchase includes a warranty (as explicitly stated on its product page), the following terms apply:
- The product listing will specify the warranty duration (e.g. “2 years,” “3 years,” or “2 years warranty against tarnish”).
- The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the duration specified (unless overridden by the product page).
- Covered defects may include loose settings, faulty clasps, or plating failures (depending on the product).
- To claim warranty, you must follow the procedure described below (proof of purchase, photos, return, etc.).
2. When a Product Is Not Under Warranty
- If a product listing does not mention a warranty or guarantee, then no warranty beyond your statutory rights (as applicable by local law) is provided by us.
- The absence of a warranty means the item is sold “as is” with respect to defects or failures, except where local consumer protection laws require implied warranties.
3. Warranty Claim Procedure (for Products with Warranty)
To request warranty service:
- Contact us within the warranty period, but no later than the date specified on the product page.
- Provide proof of purchase (order number, date) and clear photographs showing the defect.
- We will evaluate whether the defect is covered under warranty.
- If the claim is accepted, we will repair, replace, or refund the item (at our discretion).
- Return shipping for warranty claims is handled as stated in the product’s warranty terms (you must check whether it is your cost or ours).
4. Exclusions & Limitations
This warranty (when present) does not cover:
- Damage due to misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, exposure to harsh chemicals, improper handling or cleaning.
- Unauthorized modifications, repairs by third parties, or improper storage.
- Loss, theft, or disappearance of the product.
- Cosmetic defects that do not affect function (e.g. minor scratches).
- Products that clearly state “no warranty” or lack a warranty clause.
5. Duration & Effect of Expired Warranty
- Warranty coverage lasts only for the period specified on the product page (e.g. 2 years, 3 years).
- After that period, or if no warranty exists, you may be eligible for paid repair services, if offered, but such services are outside this warranty.
- Any unauthorized repairs or alterations will void the warranty even if still inside the period.
6. Limit of Liability
Except where prohibited by law, our liability under any warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price. We are not liable for consequential or incidental damages.
7. Consumer Rights & Local Laws
- This warranty is in addition to and does not reduce rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
- In jurisdictions where implied warranties cannot be excluded, those rights remain.
- If any part of this policy is found invalid under your local law, the rest remains in force.
